#12 Tips for Running

  • Keep hydrated by drinking water before, during and after your run.
  • Don’t wear too many layers as you’ll warm up.
  • Keep a steady pace.
  • Invest in comfortable shoes that correct any issues with your running gait.
  • Keep motivated by listening to ‘Take on Me’ by Ah-ha and imagine you’re in the music video.
  • Smuggly wave at passing traffic in the knowledge that you’re exercising while they drive around like the lazy fuckers they are.
  • Did I say hydrate? Hydrate.
  • Hit the first mile and mentally pat yourself on the back. Hit the second mile and cheer aloud. Hit the third mile and wonder why you didn’t just ride your bike.
  • Seriously, you have a great bike. You should have ridden the bike.
  • Remember to hydrate. 
  • I mean, the bike was right there as you left home. Right there.
  • Land on your heal first.
  • Damn that’s a sexy bike. Imagine the miles you could have covered on it.
  • Hydrate.
